Tested
, 2021 wall hanging 73x140cm, fused glass and lamp working on pyrex test tubes , coiled linen, wool yarn. New body of works conceived in isolation. Reflecting on the restrictions we are undergoing and how much they can affect our lives. In order to define the level of Covidā€™s contagion of a geographic area based on the daily number of positive tests, authorities introduced colours : yellow, orange, red. Colours indicate also restrictions and behaviour to adopt by citizens  to fight the pandemic. My country has been jeopardised by colours, causing isolation, fear and poverty among communities in many regions. New colours, new discriminations!

ā€œā€¦ā€¦although people are seeking to be together, especially in this period characterized by lockdowns and social restrictions, I feel to recollect myself in prayā€¦.to thank, to find myself, to forget, to forgive. I conceived  a Silent Room and I created tapestries out of wool ; they are the imaginary walls of a house of worship, a place where there are no differences and religions coexistā€¦.a peaceful place for my soul.ā€
